NEW: The ADS-B Training Module
We slimmed down the ADS-B module, without sacrifizing any of the features.
In the contrary! It is now included into the FreeScopes software and can be used by 100s of students concurrently.
What is ADS-B?
Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) is a surveillance technology for tracking aircraft as part of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). ADS-B makes flying significantly safer for the aviation community. When using this system both pilots and controllers will see the same radar picture. With ADS-B, information is sent to aircraft using ADS-B In, which displays all aircraft in the area, even those not equipped with ADS-B technology.
Whate are the Features?
- Visualization of DF17 Squitter Signal via Oscilloscope and FreeScopes software.
BNC sockets for practical measurement of video and IF-signals (intermediate frequency) at the extractor.
Comfortable visualization of raw data, textual data and graphical data (PPI) to understand signal, signal conversion chain, ATC-implications, military implications etc.
